In my long life, both in the Royal Australian Navy and later, I have travelled the world quite extensively. From sheer
curiosity I picked up my world globe to note the various countries that I have visited, I was in fact surprised after listing them that they totalled sixty four, including a saga of 33 days by train, and a dilapidated bus from Hong Kong across China/Asia to Moscow and thence to St Petersburg.

There is one gap here, and it is South America, Mexico is the closest that I have managed to visit in this part of the world.
