AHOY Spreads its Wings
Introduction. The reasons vary greatly, some write in a complimentary fashion, others have a question to pose about something I have written about, and Terry has knocked into shape and put up on our site. Then we have a stream of relatives who want to record that their Dad, Uncle, Grandfather and even great Grandfather served in a particular ship, or can we give them details of the ship in which they served, and maybe were sunk in. There are people out there more eagle eyed than am I, a fact has become distorted in my account, and they write to put me straight, these folk are always welcome. We have never claimed to be infallible, but do strive for accuracy, so we are ready to acknowledge a mistake, and are happy to fix it as soon as practicable. The wide range of contact with people from diverse countries has been our reward for a great deal of research , scribblings, and effort, to make AHOY the site that faces our Public on the Internet daily. It is a personal joy to me, and I think I speak for Terry in Atlanta, Georgia too when I say Thank You to all who take the trouble and time to write to us, keep it coming please, and keep us on our toes.
