Letters

Many thanks for your post about the movie UNDER TEN FLAGS.  I had been trying to remember the name of that movie as well and found it under your web site.

I was lucky in that I lived in Buenos Aires during WW II and took a tour boat out and saw the Graf Spee in 1943 in after she was scuttled.

Dear Doctor Bryant,

Thank you for taking the time to write, I am pleased you found something on AHOY of use.

My web master, Tery Kearns lives in Atlanta, Georgia, so is closer to you than I am in Australia. We run a joint effort, I do the writing and research, and Terry whips it all into shape as our AHOY SITE which shows its face to the world and for anyone who chances to log on.

As you are probably aware there is a group currently tying to raise Graf Spee, and here is a picture of her recovered Swastica and Eagle.

Graf Spee, recovered Swastica and Eagle

Best regards and wishes,
Mackenzie Gregory.
