Think my granddad sailed the boat which saved survivors of the Athenia

Hello Sir,

I think I may be able to help you with your research. We think my granddad sailed the boat which saved survivors of the Athenia. We have details on a cigarette packet written by the lady at the time – thanking my granddad for saving the life of her and her son.

As I am also interested in your research, we can try and find out more information if you require?

Many Thanks
