Thanksgiving Dinner in Atlanta 2002

Mac,

Here is what we had for Thanksgiving dinner today, 28 November, 2002, at Kathleen's house near Palmetto, Georgia which is about 30 miles southwest of Atlanta.  There were 21 adults and 7 children.  15 were family members and 13 neighbors. We ate ourselves silly and still had some leftovers.

  • Turkey: 20+ pounds
  • Baked ham: 15+ pounds
  • Deviled eggs
  • Broccoli / walnut salad
  • Mashed potatoes
  • Cornbread turkey dressing
  • Non-cornbread turkey dressing
  • Giblet gravy
  • Squash / zucchini casserole
  • Stewed corn
  • Green beans
  • Sweet potato casserole
  • Home made rolls and croissants
  • Cranberry sauce
  • Apple spice cake
  • Cherry cheese cake
  • Pumpkin roll
  • Pumpkin pie
  • Chocolate cake
  • Carrot cake
  • Sweet potato pie
  • Hot spiced apple cider
  • Cokes, Diet Cokes, and Sprite
  • Iced tea
  • Wine
