Served on USS Canberra and built a working model of the ship

Hello;

Ran across your website...

I was on the USS Canberra from '66 to '68, and made it to Melbourne in '67.

Rotten luck for us we gave the bell to you, see what happened the next day.....

Here's a model of the old ship that I've been working on for years...

Still not done with it; it's pretty much 'scratch' built.  I take it out and chase the ducks with it on occasion....

Best regards;

Ron,

How nice to hear from you, do you attend the reunions of your old ship, as an Honorary member, I get copies of the Bulletin.

Post 1967, I made several trips to the States, and each time was able to catch up with Captain Edwin Rosenberg, who of course made it to Rear Admiral.

USS Canberra has a special place in my family, thank you for sharing your model of her, we will put your pictures up on our Web Site and hopefully many more people will get to enjoy all your work.

With best wishes for the future and kindest regards.

Mac. Gregory.
