RMS Rangitata Ragitata Hi Mac, I came across you website and hoped you could help me? My lovely father-in-law John law sailed all over on the Ragitata years ago working in the kitchens of the ship as a chef. He has literally hundreds of fascinating stories and I know he remembers them very very fondly. I was looking to get his something nice as a keepsake which revolved around the ship or crew etc etc from this time. We are talking 1940's? Have you any idea where I could trace crew from then or source any memorabilia? I look forward to your response, a million thanks in advance ! Sasha Pennie
I take it that you mean RMS Rangitata built in 1929 and sailed until 1962. Other than that you could try E-Bay and just search their site for items relating to RMS Rangitata, you may turn up some item that grabs your attention.
