Gerry's Scrapbook

Bill,

I am very grateful for your time and trouble in sending me Gerry's Scrapbook with its amazing pictures of the power of our modern Submarine's Torpedo.

As an old Torpedo Anti-Submarine Specialist I really appreciate your action, the pictures are awesome, would hate to be on the wrong end of a fish like that, but then I guess the Japanese Long Lance 24 inch diameter torpedo from WW2 was a fearsome beast.

Nice to hear from you, with best wishes for 2004 and thanks again.

Mac. Gregory.

Mac,

My pleasure from one navy man to another and allies to boot. And the best of the New Year to you too.

Bill

P.S. I just finished reading the book: " 1421  The Year China Discovered America" by  Gavin Menzies, a former Royal Navy submarine Commanding Officer.

It actually has to do with China discovering the world around the year 1421 and has a lot to say about the Chinese in Australia about that time.
