Hi

Thought I would drop a line and show a painting I completed of my wife's grandfather's ship SS. Valdemossa
rescuing children from SS. Volendam in Aug 1940 after being torpedoed by U-60. Captain O'hara's small tanker and
SS. Bassethound were first to the rescue according to my understanding.

My thanks for that. We are at present in Hong Kong before going off to Beijing and Shanghai.
