Hi, Mac,

How are you keeping now that summer’s arrived in Oz?

Please pass on my e-mail address to Amanda. John Lawton has been collecting photographs of Veteran’s crew as part of his ongoing research, so I’ll have to ask him if he can supply any of the images he received from Canada last year (photos taken by local Nova Scotia residents in early September 1942 just before the ship sailed with RB.1). I know that he’s gone a long way towards identifying some of the crew members, but whether John McCormick is amongst them, I can’t comment.

John is planning to organise a reunion of Veteran families, friends and relatives in 2006 at Birkenhead in Liverpool.

BEST WISHES

Stewart
