James Firth lost in Submarine Vandal 24/2/1943

Hi

Just found your site for quite some time I have tried to trace a cousin of my mother who died in WW2 in a submarine accident I have today traced a death for a James Firth death 24/2/1943 Then I found the mtch in relation to submarine Vandal, can I ask if you know where I could get confirmation of if he was one of the crew?
