Image of HMHS Asturias

February 8, 2012

Hi,

I wanted to get in touch with you in regards to an image I have discovered on your website, "British Hospital Ships, Torpedoed or Mined in WW1" of HMHS Asturias.

Southampton Solent University in the UK have been working on website to commemorate the servicemen & women of Southampton who fought so valiantly during the First World War.

Would it be possible to use this image on our website - with credit of your site?

Hannah,

Of course, no problem.

Hi,

Sorry I have taken so long to reply to you.

Here is the link to our Southampton Cenotaph website: http://southamptoncenotaph.com

Also, below you will find a link on the story written by our University about the project I have been a part of:

http://www.solent.ac.uk/courses/undergraduate/media_culture_and_production/student-projects/cenotaph-project.aspx

It has been a fantastic project to work on, and I thank you for your kind help.

We are still anticipating adding more images and information, but in terms of design and layout we have
finished.

Hannah Watts

Hannah,

My thanks for your mail, it is indeed a great project.

Best wishes,
Mac.
