Dear Mac,

Congratulations on your wonderful work re HMAS CANBERRA.

Could you tell me Mac the Hudson crew involved in the saga...was one of them William Stutt who won a DFC? You interviewed a Stanley Stutt..was he the same man as F. Lt. WILIAM JOHN STUTT DFC 408536?

see "Tracking Sunderland Crew Members for a Journal Article"

Cheers, Peter Lawlor  ....friend of ROS KYRIAKOU.

With kind regards
Peter

Peter,

Thank you for your kind words about Canberra.

Post war, I interviewed the Pilot of the Hudson who was Sergeant Stan Stutt who was about 20 or so at the time he flew the Hudson.

With Stan when we met was his Navigator, and their Radio operator was Eric Geddes now 94 and the sole
survivor from the Hudson crew of four.

I did not interview Flight Lieutenant William Stutt nor did I ever meet him.

Post war Stan became Chairman of the Mooney Valley Racing club.

Best regards,
Mac.
