Albert B. Cummins and the William P. McArthur Liberty Ships in WWII

Hello, my name is Mark Luethold.

I was wondering if you could help me.

My Dad was on the Albert B. Cummins and the William P. McArthur Liberty Ships in WWII. I am not sure of the spelling on them but was wondering if have any photos of them or can direct me to where I might be able to find some. My Dad is 82 years old now and has only one remaining photo.

Mark,

Sorry I am unable to turn up a photo of either ship, Albert B Cummins was a US Army Transport, her hull Number 1612.

William P McArthur a Liberty with Hull Number 0555.

In all 2,751 Liberty Ships were built, I doubt WW2 could have been won without their contribution.

Regards,
Mackenzie Gregory
